Is It A Crime to Throw Rocks At Cars?

It seems like a pretty obvious answer.

Of course it is a crime under Maryland Law to throw a rock at a moving car.

What might not seem so obvious is the serious nature of the offense. Criminal defense attorneys in Baltimore MD have seen that throwing a rock, or similar item, at a car can be prosecuted aggressively.  The offense carries a maximum of 1 year in jail [as compared to 60 days for malicious destruction].
